Vanessa Demos

Vanessa is a student at Yorkville University, completing her final year in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors, from York University in Toronto. Vanessa currently works for the York Catholic, and Simcoe Public school boards, as an Educational Assistant for students with diverse needs.

Vanessa believes everyone has the potential already within them to be their best selves. Her eclectic approach is heavily driven by person-centered techniques, with influences from cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, among others. Vanessa brings a calm, genuine, and empathic atmosphere to the therapy room, prioritizing the safety of her clients above all else.

Vanessa fills her spare time by doing projects on her Cricut, researching crystals, and spending time with her dog.
