Lou Henry holds a master’s degree in social work from Wilfrid Laurier University, an Indigenous Social Work Degree from Laurentian University as well as a diploma in Native Community & Social Development from Georgian College. Lou is registered with the (OCSSWSW) Ontario College of Social Service Workers & Social Workers and member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
Lou started his career over 20 years ago working in Restorative Justice helping clients with overcoming identity issues, anger management, stress, anxiety, grief, self-esteem issues and all the addictions that can come with this. Using wholistic wellness, mindfulness, CBT and for some spirituality can extremely helpful. Teaching clients about balance and watching them utilize this in their own life is extremely gratifying. Understanding where you came from is as crucial as is understanding where you want to go.
