Fawn MacInnis is a registered social worker with Family TLC. Fawn’s approach is rooted in empathy and compassion, and fosters strength and skills development, she guides her clients in organizing the essential tools they need to overcome the challenges they face and gain confidence.
Fawn is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSWSSW), a member of the Canadian Association of Social Workers and is also registered with the National Institute of Forensic Social Workers. She holds a graduate degree from the University of Windsor specializing in health and mental health, an undergraduate degree in Social Work from Laurentian University and also a diploma in Social Service Work from Georgian College.
Fawn’s work with clients is based on mutual respect, is collaborative and non-judgmental and takes into account all aspects of a person’s life and wellbeing. Assessing a person’s psychosocial strengths, she has the capacity to assist clients with short and long term goals. Fawn believes that her role as a therapist is to assist people to develop their fullest potential.
Counselling is a collaborative process and a joint commitment. Whether you are feeling specific symptoms like depression, anxiety, or just stuck and/or looking to enhance yourself, Fawn’s goal is to help you find ways to do this and privileged to accompany people on their journey to reach their health and wellness goals.
