Christina is Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Family TLC committed to working with individuals, couples, and families. She holds a master’s degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville University, and a bachelor’s degree in arts from Laurentian University. Christina has devoted 2 decades to empowering individuals with her approach to creating opportunities for positive transformation and growth.
Christina’s experiences and settings in which she formed her clinical mental health expertise have been broad. Being attuned at an young age to the mental health needs of others and as a former educator working with the neurodivergent population, Christina came into the field to assist others in living a more fulfilled and meaningful life.
Christina has enormous compassion for people going through life’s challenges and transitions and feels privileged to work with those who are seeking support. Christina’s approach is integrative and direct, tailoring care to meet the collaboratively defined goals and needs, using different therapeutic techniques to help her clients. She incorporates warmth, genuineness, and humor into her work, aiming to create a space where diverse client systems feel comfortable engaging in critical thinking and introspection. Chirstina believes in the importance of integrating past and present experiences, helping clients feel strengthened and more satisfied both individually and in relationships with others. She helps clients access greater understanding and resiliency to create long-standing, meaningful change.
